The Origin Story: From Unraid Woes to Ubuntu Triumph
It all started with my Unraid server, a beast loaded with drives—until a failing parity drive threw a wrench in the works. So, I stripped it down to bare-metal Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS, letting igweb1, igweb2, and igweb3 shine as a lean cluster for apps, DB, and backups. Today, it powers 60 Docker containers with ease—proof that sometimes, the old ways win.
