Week 25 - June 2025 - Weekly Update
June 14, 2025· Jorge Iglesias· Status Updates

This weekly update is all about Home Remodeling and Construction this week, but from a digital perspective. I was also able to clean up a few projects that I had left hanging.

Personal projects keeping piling up, but I'm enjoying getting things done and the end results of different projects I thought of working on.

SWFL

I fixed some content issues with some of the new lead gen pages I had created to help connect potential customers to businesses.

I fixed some scraping issues on the site

Computer Related

Added some updates to a benchmark application I worked on earlier in the year.

Planned inventory tracking process

For the inventory, I know it’ll eat up my free time for a few weeks, but I’ve got a streamlined process locked in. I’ll start by sorting my computer parts, then logging them into a Google Sheets spreadsheet with columns like Title, Manufacturer, SKU, Price, Condition, and ComponentType. Using dropdowns for stuff like CPU/GPU and formulas like ="PART-"&ROW() for SKUs keeps it clean. Then, I’ll bulk upload to my Strapi backend with the Import/Export Plugin. Sample: Title: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, Manufacturer: AMD, SKU: PART-003, Price: $400, Condition: New, ComponentType: CPU.

The other cool thing I've been working on is a way to track my computer benchmark results. At this point, I just need a space to setup my work stations to actually run the benchmarks. Space at my place is running low, and it's becoming a small issue for me, which hopefully I can find a work-around for eventually.

Until next week's update!

Cheers
