HolyShitIdeas is a gated marketplace MVP for reviewing, buying, funding, and managing idea inventory.
Key Features:
- Public landing page and pricing page
- Buyer/funder username and password gate for marketplace access
- Buyer/funder application form
- Creator invite application form
- Protected marketplace preview and inventory shell
- CMS content types for listings, applications, creator invites, access grants, inquiries, offers, deals, commission rules, and reports
- Demo-mode behavior when CMS tokens are not configured
Technical Implementation: Built as a Next.js plus Strapi 5 project with PostgreSQL, Docker Compose, protected marketplace routes, and CMS-backed listing workflows.
Business Impact: Provides a fast MVP surface for validating a gated marketplace model before investing in a larger transaction and membership platform.
